I hate to break it to H&R Block, but every year I did my own taxes I received a full refund from the government (which is to say that I was refunded every penny of income tax I paid). Granted, this says more about my pitiably low income during those years than my tax-filing acumen, but whatever. And since I can’t be refunded more money than I paid I am very curious to learn how paying H&R Block would have been a better choice for me. Oh wait, it wouldn’t have been.
I know that my experience hardly refutes H&R Block’s claim, but I am so tired of having a little man in a bow tie yell at me. Stop undoing the Doctor’s good work toward making bow ties cool, H&R Block man.
