It feels so weird to say this, but I am officially done with grad school! I submitted my last homework assignment (paper and PowerPoint) and don’t have to take any finals during Finals Week. (By the bye, the whole “Finals Week means nothing” thing is one of the underrated aspects of online grad school.) The only thing left to do is, well…
(I always liked that Third Eye Blind song.)
Actually, do I really “need” to graduate to be done with school if I’m not going to bother attending Commencement? I’m going with “no.”
So yeah, I’m officially done with grad school 🙂
Until tomorrow. (Or tonight if I feel inspired.)
Today was the first day of school in the Tampa area. This will never not be horrifying to me. For God’s sake, classes don’t start at USF until next week. I just can’t wrap my head around it.
Actually, I recently learned several other things about public education in Florida that blew my mind. For instance, the school superintendent is an elected official. And responsible for the entire county. That is not the way things work in Pennsylvania.
Anyways, I didn’t really have a point except that school is in session. Which I guess means that summer is over. Except that there’s still a month left in the season of summer.
Until tomorrow. (When I may or may not be more coherent.)
